Twinsaw Technology

The TwinSaw's technology isn't new - it's been used for over 20 years in Europe for rescue operations and extrications.

Our technology lies within our saw’s gearbox - It is designed to hold two blades that spin in opposite directions of each other.  This system creates many advantages over conventional, single blade rescue tools, such as:

Technology

Reaction-Free Cutting

Our twin-blade technology eliminates virtually all kickback when cutting. This makes the TwinSaw exceptional for rescue operations in extremely narrow situations close to the body of the user and/or the body of a potential victim.  It also allows for the user to maneuver and cut in overhead, odd, and unconventional positions.

Technology

Minimal/No Spark Throw

Our twin-blade technology also eliminates sparks when cutting through metals, which can be attributed to the reduced rotational speed of our blades.  This is great for cutting in situations where spark throw is less than ideal.  A lower blade speed also leads to the saw's cuts being cool to the touch, as soon as immediately after the cut.

Technology

Cut Through Almost Any Material

Due to the technology of the saw and the geometry of our diamond tip blades, the TwinSaw can cut through any non-abrasive material.  It performs best with medium-hard materials, but can also cut ultra-hard materials (at the cost of blade consumption).  For concrete, we have a single concrete blade available to swap onto the saw. The TwinSaw's sharpness offers cuts in situations and materials where all other cutting tools are failing.

Technology

Versatility in Rescue Operations

Because of the TwinSaw's above strengths (reaction free cutting, minimal spark throw, and sharpness), it can outperform conventional rescue saws in any rescue scenario.
